WHOLE-HEARTED
It helps you move forward from life’s difficult experiences
It begins Wednesday, October 23 at 7:00 pm in Providence Hall at St. Mary
for four consecutive weeks
As part of the US Bishops October Catholic Mental Health Campaign, we will offer Whole Hearted, a free parish-based trauma awareness program FOR ALL adults. Whole Hearted provides information about trauma and helps you privately reflect on your own experience.
Though we will gather in community, Whole Hearted is not a support group nor is it a clinical resource. It is a “quiet” program that consists mainly of private journal exercises and short, small group discussions for those who wish to briefly share their own experiences.
Whole Hearted is an ongoing process of inner work
Recognition: Seeing your experience of trauma and assessing your response(s) to it.
Renewal: Prayer and other spiritual exercises as sources for strength and newness.
Restoration: The ongoing and intentional work needed to move forward in a healthy way.
